Hanging Doll
Storm Donington!!!
Hanging Doll played an absolutely blistering show at the recent
British round of the Moto GP at Donington Park Race Track. After a
miserable day in the field (the weather was truly appalling) race
fans were treated to an awesome display of Hanging Doll's
particular brand of "Orchestral Rock".
The band, who are currently in the studio finishing off tracks for
their debut album, took to the major stage with the consummate ease
of veterans who had been touring for years.......even though this
was only their 5th gig with new vocalist Sally Holliday and only the
2nd gig with keyboard wizard Ozzy!
New found fans lined up for about 45 minutes after the show to get
signed cds and autographs from the band. On this showing it should
not be too long before Hanging Doll join the likes of Nightwish,
Within Temptation and Evanescence in the quest for world domination!
iTunes...Shy,
Paul Logue (Edne's Curse and Cry Havoc), and Pete Way can now all be
found on iTunes. The next three or four weeks or so should see Tony
Mills, Paul Talbot (Citizen Smith and Urban Legend), Hanging Doll
and the rest of Once Bitten Music artists being available for
download.
If any bands reading this should have albums recorded that you would
like to be available for download please feel free to contact us and
submit any material for consideration.
Back in the
Premiership...Birmingham
City Football Club celebrate their return to the top flight with a
brilliant single "Can't Keep Us Down"...and Once Bitten Music in
association with Madhouse Records are very proud to have negotiated
the rights to release it. Based on the ELO track "Don't Bring Me
Down", "Can't Keep Us Down" is a sure fire hit for the terraces.
The brainchild of top Midlands sports
writer and presenter Tom Ross along with top TalkSport
presenter Ian Danter, the unlikely pop stars recorded the track in
The Zombie Studios located at Madhouse Rehearsals in Birmingham.
Being long time friends of the label, both Tom and Ian were
happy for Madhouse and Once Bitten to handle the release.
The cd will be released in a gate fold
sleeve and will have pictures of the players and biogs from both Tom
and Ian. Fans will be able to buy the track in both the official
Birmingham City Football Club shops. It will also be available in
the usual retail stores and available for download via iTunes. There
are also plans for downloads to mobile phones..........watch this
space for details!
Eden's Curse are on their
way...Eden's Curse, the
brainchild of Paul Logue and Michael Eden have signed significant
licences to secure world wide releases for their self titled debut
album..."Eden's Curse"
The band have effectively achieved a world
wide release by tying up deals in different territories and
synchronising the release dates, which are as follows:-
22/08/07:
Dynamo Records (Latin America)
Metal Mayhem Music (North America)
Spiritual Beast (Japan)
24/08/07:
AFM (Europe)
This is significant achievement for the band and will hopefully
a springboard to great success. The new album is receiving rave
reviews and the release dates are being eagerly awaited.
